Great news Tacoma, Sound Transit voted last night in favor of keep the Tacoma light-rail extension project with tentative opening of 2035. Which is still so very far away. 🫣

Continuing with our Transit Adventures, I took the kids on the recently opened Line 2 of the Link light rail. Pictured below: the floating bridge and a very photogenic Line 2 train in Lynnwood station.

This was the Kid's idea, who remained very excited about it in spite of the long and crowded ride (there was a Sounder's game). Crossing the floating bridge was not that exciting, but seeing all the places that have just opened up for us.. that was great!

Some light-rail users in Montreal were mistakenly taken to the train wash after boarding the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) on Friday morning.

This really seems like an Oops moment.
