The shot was more or less determined by finding a convenient place to put the camera down.
While taking this picture I met some friendly and chatty Sound Transit employees who were curious about what I was doing.

I grew up in Seattle, spent most of my life there, and had a condo in Bellevue for 9 years. They've been talking about this rail system for decades. I don't live there anymore, but I'm glad they are getting it done. I lived in Japan for years, and go back often, and the rail systems there are so cheap and reliable that they make owning a car redundant, costly, and an indulgence.

The new link light rail across Lake Washington on the I-90 bridge is slated to officially open to passengers March 28, finally connecting Seattle and the Eastside.
