Got to introduce my zoomer friend to Life in Hell, which was easily the comic strip that had the most influence on me (outside of Mad Magazine) cause my step-dad owned all the collections that had been released at that point (early 2000s) and I read them and re-read them constantly much more than any of the other strip collections he owned like Calvin & Hobbes.

When I was done with grocery shopping, I walked in a neighborhood I don't know at all, on and near 11th Avenue West in Queen Anne, in #Seattle. It was late morning, but the air and the colors were still sparkly. It's strange to see flowers, trees, and birds make their #paradise and be completely unaware of looming fascism, forever wars, dictators, religious fanatics, and hatemongers of all stripes.
