Why it matters:

The state #bar acknowledged the inquiry in a letter last month to the nonprofit Campaign for Accountability, which had called for disciplinary proceedings against #LindseyHalligan over her conduct in the prosecutions of former #FBI director #JamesComey & NYAG #LetitiaJames. 
Halligan resigned in January under increasing pressure from federal judges in her district after a court ruled that she had been unlawfully appointed to her position, & dismissed the cases against Comey & James.
