The timeline to the April 29, 1992 LA uprising runs through March 1991. On March 3rd, Rodney King was beaten by four LAPD officers. Less than three weeks later on March 16th came the shooting of 15 year old Latasha Harlins by a store owner in South Central LA, a dispute over a sale of orange juice.
