This morning I am worrying about @anghamrlkhalil being under bombardment in Gaza and a friend who was forced to report to the Home Office but who has not re-emerged. I am worried that he has been taken into detention. Meanwhile the sunny Saturday goes on around me whilst I ignore a friend in Niger who needs money that I don't have.

Ziel: Kantonale Asylkoordination beim Röntgenplatz
Der türkische Staat klagt tausende Menschen wegen «Terrorpropaganda» oder «Präsidentenbeleidung» an und verurteilt viele von ihnen. Gleichzeitig lehnt die Schweiz Asylgesuche von Personen aus der Türkei oft ab. Ausschaffungen enden teils direkt im Gefängnis, wo besonders Regimegegner*innen, die sich für Demokratie und Gerechtigkeit einsetzen, jahrelange Haftstrafen erwarten.
Doch nicht nur Geflüchtete aus der Türkei werden gewaltvoll ausgeschafft: Es trifft von Krieg und Terror geflüchtete Personen aus Somalia, Kurdistan, Burundi, Iran, Afghanistan, Äthiopien und weiteren Regionen.
