Cardigan in progress, the pattern is Seven Tees, adapted for people with arms bigger than drinking straws, and without the stripes.

Using local Rambouillet wool from a farm I've been to, that I got at the Midwest Fiber Festival. This year the festival is April 24-26 in St Louis.

So I knitted #socks for 4 art school students. Today I gave the last pair I made. The guy thought they were the best socks he ever had. Alas the first pair, the ones I made from a yarn I bought in Ireland, apparently shrunk or deformed completely in the washing machine. I’ll try to block them@again to see if that will help… plus I might have to knit 2 more pairs because the group of friends expanded lol

any #knitters have a favorite stitch dictionary that includes pros/cons of the different stitches? Most i know just show the stitches and how to do them, not including details like "this rib is tighter"

Last autumn I got involved in a MKAL (mystery knit along for the uninitiated) hosted by Stephen West. It was for the Shawlography shawl pattern. It’s a stunning shawl and I learnt lots of new techniques whilst knitting it.
