Oh hi. I haven't been here for a minute. How's it going?

I love shipwrecks and old washed up boats. I was fortunate enough when I arrived that there was good light and the tide was going out allowing for a nice reflection. This is the Peter Iredale Shipwreck on the Oregon coast.

This will make you feel old:
Pebbles from The Flintstones would be around 35,000 by now.

Thinking about how TWO devices that I own are “obsolete"—not because the hardware has kicked the bucket—but because Google simply doesn’t want to provide security updates for them.

And now that I think about it, it’s all so wasteful.

Here’s a strange thought for you. I own a Sony Walkman that was made decades ago. It still plays NEW cassettes sold on Bandcamp. The device is probably ~30-years-old.

None of these Android phones will be usable in 30 years.

I thought Audible's "Listen for 20 mins a day for five days" promo would be hard to get into, but then I stumbled across Graphic Audio's adaptations of the Ordinary Magic series ( by @Devonmonk ) and now I've finished three books and just bought Book 4. #urbanfantasy

The other day I was in a vintage shop. A fellow comes in, maybe a truck driver, delivery driver, worker-type man. The older woman/business owner knows him. What catches my attention as they chat is how he addresses her. Not Ma'am, or Miss, or her name. He just uses a polite "buddy."

Like: "Sure, I got that, buddy. No problem, buddy."

The younger female employee joins the convo and she is "buddy" too: "Hi, buddy, you bet I can do that."

I want to start using Universal Buddy now.

I've been doing voiceovers since 2015, but I played my first game of D&D in 1991 and I’ve played #TTRPGs ever since.

I've voiced for Guinness, The UN, Pepsi and a lot of others, but not much in #TTRPG area.

If you have a project, I'd love to voice it, or contribute voice work to it, for like 20% of my normal fee.

If you’re a black or bipoc creator, I’ll do it for free, I’d like to try and make myself useful.

I’d really appreciate any boosts for this a lot.
