I was in a good mood and I came across some #lego So today I'm making the orange Chryssamnthemum kit.

I got to help out a friend with an emergency 💪 So great to be able to do that again now that I feel better.

I had a waiting room fail! I did not bring my knitting project and none of my books were downloaded on my phone (nor did I take my ereader). I'm not used to killing time in public spaces anymore. #knitting #bookstodon #reading

I donated a few of my handknit sweaters to other crafters. They're itchy to me so reclaiming the yarn made no sense. Happy someone else will actutally wear them

Happy National Library week!

I am going hard on my library usage these days, trying to replace corporate subscriptions with public library resources. My local library system has current music releases on CDs, DVDs of movies I can't find on streaming, a huge selection of audiobooks I'm listening to instead of podcasts. No matter what you're into, there's a good chance your local public library has something for you.

My third #TransRightsReadathon book was The Left Hand of Dog, an excellent recommendation from @Knien . It's just the kind of audiobook I like -- lots of distinct voices, and all British as a plus. 😂 The story is good silly fun, full of geeky references -- Spock's brain, I about died! -- but also has a lot of humanity, as femme-agender-asexual-disabled Lem finds herself feeling home at last with the motliest crew of silly aliens imaginable.

I think it might have felt too twee for my tastes in print, but the audio really sells it. First in a series.
