We're removing the #OliveBranch from our eagle, for our 250th commemorative coins. The dime on its reverse (obverse is #Liberty) will have an eagle w/arrows for war but no branch of #peace.
Taken directly from our 1775 diplomatic "Olive Branch Petition" to #KingGeorge III, the *U.S. Seal* shows the #eagle holding both, & pointedly facing the branch of peace, not facing the arrows of #war.
Add the war crime of "No quarter!" & here we are.
