I am boiling down the carcass of the chicken I roasted earlier this week (Canadian TG was in October, in case you’re wondering) and it smells great. I will have to use it in special sauces and gravies because it is deliciously filled with the honey cinnamon and lemon and garlic I roasted that bird with. I have enough regular chicken broth to last me the winter. Ooooh! Looky! The butcher shop has nice fat roasters again! #Incurable

British doctors have for the 1st time ever #successfully #treated an #incurable and aggressive form of #leukaemia with a #cell #engineering technique: They used #genetically #modified cells that are able to target and kill cancer cells without damaging healthy ones. After the experimental medicine the teenage patient was able to receive a bone marrow transplant restoring her immune system. She is now free of cancer.
