In the book of Sleeping Beauty that I was given when I was a child, the story begins as follows:
All the fairies were invited to the princess's christening except one, who was evil. But the evil fairy appeared after all the others had blessed the princess and cursed her, saying that when she turned twenty she would prick herself on a spinning wheel and die. But one of the good fairies, who was very absent-minded and had forgotten about the princess's party, arrived after the evil fairy had left and was told about the curse. So she said that although she could not undo the other fairy's curse, she could modify it so that the princess would not die, but would fall asleep until her true love came to kiss her and wake her up.
All this to say that I can't help writing the story that the devil planted in my head, but I've discovered that I can write it more or less as I want, and turn it into a didactic story to a certain extent.
