節約で、2014年5月からずっと継続して契約していた「iTunes Match」を解約することにしたんだけど、これ全曲ダウンロードしておかないと楽曲データが消えちゃうんだよね…？
というわけで6,000曲余りのダウンロードを始めたのだけど、エラーでダウンロードできない曲があるのどうして…なんで……

My subscription to iTunes Match just renewed. I'm honestly shocked that this service still exists — every year I keep expecting Apple to kill it and try to push more people to Apple Music. Maybe Tim Apple forgot iTunes Match exists. Also: it just occurred to me, is this the last thing still using the "iTunes" branding now?

You know how you can rip all of the music you have on CDs, subscribe to iTunes Match, and it will download higher quality versions of the songs and store them in the cloud?

1. Is that still true?
2. Let’s say I did that years ago. How come, as an iTunes Match subscriber, I don’t see that music in my library?

As an #AppleMusic subscriber I’m never quite sure if I can safely let my #iTunesMatch sub fall by the wayside - and nothing I’ve read on the matter makes me feel any more confident about it.

Anyone here who has done just that and is still able to access all the music they’ve personally uploaded (that isn’t available on Apple Music)?

It’s £22 I’d rather not spend if it’s unnecessary, but it’s the fear of the unknown and the loss of my obscure stuff that I don’t want to risk losing access to.
