Now I updated it with much more recent music I'm currently listening to.
The amazing thing is, this player also plays ogg files, which was not common at the time. It was the reason I bought it. I ripped all my CDs to ogg back then.
And it has a mic and a line-in to record and encode stuff. Nothing special for today's phones but amazing in 2004.

I'm still using iRiver MP3 player from these times and nowadays I found that it is a very liberating experience — to just put the device on the table after listening the music and don't worry about necessity to charge it, about battery level, etc. I'm able just to pick it up when I want to listen music again and it will be ready to serve me.
