Here’s some napkin math for how expensive Substack is compared to its competitors, assuming that roughly 7% of all subscribers will pay for their subscriptions, and that subscriptions cost $5/month.

Happy #SlackerdaySaturday! The cooler weather was wonderful for sleeping, and it's great to have to windows open.

Today is our local Peach festival, which can usually be counted on to be one of the hottest days of the summer. It will be a wonderfully comfortable change. The biggest problem? Choosing between peach cobbler and peach dumplings to take home. Probably both, along with fresh peaches, since my daughter and granddaughter will be with us, adding their 2 cents.
