Sind eigentlich manche LC-Displays heute mit einer transflektiven Schicht versehen, ohne dass das explizit bei den Produkteigenschaften erwähnt wird?

Bei meinem alten (aber auf eine recht helle LED-Beleuchtung umgerüsteten) Lenovo konnte ich durchaus in der Sonne arbeiten, aber bei direkt über meinen Rücken hinweg ins IPS-Display strahlender Sonne war das Display selbst bei maximaler Beleuchtung doch am Limit und mit minimaler Beleuchtung fast schwarz.

Das IPS-Display des aktuellen HP scheint hingegen direkte Sonneneinstrahlung mitzunutzen - und wenn ich die Beleuchtung auf minimal stelle, sehe ich zwar einen Gelbstich, könnte aber trotzdem mit dem Display arbeiten. Bin erstaunt, dass das nicht als Vorteil gegenüber der Konkurrenz beworben wurde …
