Someone please explain momentum in CSS/HTML animations to me, because it clearly exists.
{Edit: Or that's an optical illusion because of how the element is hitting unseen boudaries created by z-index layers smaller than I expected?}
Also, it's possible to make 3D/4D space with this layout? It looks like maybe I did that by accident.
{Edit: Also an illusion because of how the layering, scaling, and transformations are interacting? I might need to break the code into smaller test pieces.}
The physics inside the screen graphics is confusing. I haven't found anything explanation. (I'm not using game editing software for this— only a note app and test browsers.)
My sad little CSS-painted message animation acts as if it's lost no matter what I try. 😧 It's the POV character in my game who's supposed to be lost, not the magical slips of paper that's meant to be going along a path. This is too disorienting. I'd love some handholding here.
