On This Day 24th February 2015.

G-AWZP, Hawker Siddeley HS121 Trident 3B (nose and forward fuselage only), British Airways, on display at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), Manchester, 24th February 2015.
I started spotting just a few months after the last of these was retired by BritishAirways, so never saw any of these flying - most of the ones I saw were on fire dumps, or used as instructional airframes, or in museums, which I've always been a bit gutted about.

Hawker Siddeley HS-121 Trident sporting China United colours on display at Datangshan - Chinese Aviation Museum (museum close to Beijing).

This frame was delivered to CAAC in April 1978, then handed over Chinese Air Force May same year. In December 1986 leased to China United Airlines. Stored October 1992 and preserved to final rest place in 1997.
