Here Maps mostra un ibrido, del tutto comprensibilmente.
Apple Maps ha fatto scelte "divisive" con una specie di AND logico fra varie mappe.

Another good example of why I love #OpenStreetMap so much.

In my town, a railroad line has been converted into a footpath and cycle path and will later become a park.

With the tool #mapCompare from Geofabrik you can see very well, my editing on OpenStreetMap shows the cycle path with crossings. here maps still shows the old railroad line and on google maps there is a warning because of the license issue.

I wish interactive maps (Google, Bing, and Here) could pull in extra data for boaters, like bridge numbers and lock numbers on canals, weirs on navigable rivers, and water levels—similar to traffic density.

I wish "street view" cameras went more places that cars and bikes can't – under bridges, through canal tunnels, over dams and weirs.

Is this data not collected because these edge-case interests are too hard to monetize?
