@xfts You are right to be worried about the UI, it is one of the weak points of /e/. Consider iodéOS for an experience closer to stock android while also including microG and blocking ads and trackers. And you get f-droid and aurora, instead of the murena store (which jumbles them together). Another disadvantage is the misleading marketing: Murena claims to offer support for nearly 300 devices, but there is only official support for 24 (the rest are community builds) and most of the official builds are still stuck on android 13, 14 15, etc. But overlooking this, it's a great project, and is helping thousands of people #degoogle and #deapple.

Am Mittwoch hat ein /e/OS-Update mein Smartphone (OnePlus Nord) quasi unbrauchbar gemacht. Das Problem ist, wenn man in die Foren schaut, wohl bereits seit Wochen bekannt, eine wirkliche Lösung gibt es nicht.
Daher wollte ich fragen, ob sich jemand in der Nähe in der Lage fühlt, mir /e/OS auf ein OnePlus 9 PRO 5G zu zaubern? Oder wäre iodéOS die bessere Alternative?

isyourbrainFOSS@Oleksii Stable or edge? Or duranium? I still daily a fp5 with #iodéOS, but a second hand fp5 is on the way for me to experiment with (and as spare parts).
I would love to daily drive #mobilelinux and #phosh again, with a fp5, but I depend on stable calls. Hopefully that is possible to sort out soon.
