I do #sysadmin work for a living, and I find it just fun enough to do it in my free time for personal use. My Facebook account has been disabled for years, so I can keep using Messenger for a lot of friends who refuse to switch. I also have an Instagram mostly to find out local events and for watching the occasional brain rot.

But Meta sucks now more than ever. I have photos. Should I blog them like I've done for major events, sharing them in a longform text format (like my Canadian genealogy/eclipse trip)? Or, should I bite the bullet and start my own PIxelfed instance for $6/month plus S3-compatible storage fees, so I can easily do one-offs (like the cat being stupid)?

Not sure how to proceed here. I'm not a photographer, but I like to pretend I am. I blog several times a year.

How do I find a shirt that fits?
Years ago I was given some "US Open" synthetic collared shirts (polo or golf style). They're great. Snag-free fabric (thicker and more durable than most), slightly taller than usual, and they don't fit like I'm wearing a tent.

If not for some stains, I'd wear them every day.

I've never been able to find anything else like them. Everything seems to be made of one-third the material, easily destroyed, too short, and built for guys the shape of a bowling ball. (I'm not a stick-man, but I'm not that either.)

Is it just me, or is there more out there? How do I find it?
