Today is Easter Sunday! Most things are closed. After breakfast at the Grande Bretagne, we went to a beach near Piraeus to touch the Mediterranean. After walking around, we returned & had roasted lamb, a traditional Easter meal in Greece, at The Greco's Project.

So, after breakfast at the Grande Bretagne, we went to the beach near Piraeus to touch the Mediterranean for the first time. After walking around a bit, we returned and had roasted lamb, a traditional Easter meal in Greece, at The Greco's Project.

Historic Athens Near Syntagma and the National Garden

After arriving in Athens, we checked into the Grande Bretagne at Syntagma Square. We watched the guard change at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and walked through the National Garden and Aristotle's Lyceum. After lunch, we visited the marble Panathenaic Stadium and Temple of Olympian Zeus before dinner.

Deoksugung

After breakfast at the RYSE, we visited Deoksugung to see the guard change and the palace. In the afternoon, we went to Yeouido to visit The Hyundai Seoul, a department store featured in the K-Drama Queen of Tears.

Deoksugung

After breakfast at the RYSE, we headed to Deoksugung to see the morning guard change and to check out the palace buildings. In the afternoon, we traveled over to Yeouido to visit The Hyundai Seoul, a department store that was featured as the Queens Department Store in the K-Drama Queen of Tears. We dropped by Yeouido Hangang Park around sunset before returning to Hongdae for dinner.

Gyeongbokgung to Myeongdong

After breakfast at the RYSE, we returned to Gyeongbokgung to see the guard changing ceremony at Gwanghwamun. We then visited the National Palace Museum before lunch. After, we went to Myeongdong, visiting Jogyesa on the way.

Gyeongbokgung to Myeongdong

After waking up at the RYSE and having breakfast, we headed back to Gyeongbokgung to see the guard changing ceremony at Gwanghwamun. We then visited the adjacent National Palace Museum before having lunch. After, we walked over to Myeongdong, visiting the Buddhist Jogyesa on the way. We walked around Myeongdong a bit, having some bingsoo and a snack before returning the RYSE to end our day.
