First meal in Myeong-dong.

Fried shrimps, tteokbokki (not too spicy), fried chicken, banana milk and orange juice.

So good (and cheap 🤑!)

We arrived late with all the things we had to do at the airport: withdrawing cash, picking up the Discover Seoul and Visit Busan passes, getting the train ticket from Incheon to Seoul...

Each of these tasks had its own surprises 😄

Street Food in #Seoul #myeongdong

The Myeongdong Night Market (street food) runs along the Myeongdong Shopping Street and opens every night from about 4 pm. When we visited in 2024, we had two stays in Seoul with a gap in between. After our first stay, we changed our hotel booking so we could stay in Myeongdong when we returned, and the night market was a big part of that — we ate here regularly. There's a huge range of food options, and it's all great. Far more than I could show in my 10-photo limit! All the shops in the area stay open late, so you can combine shopping with good street food.

Note: there are no street bins for rubbish. The vendors are responsible for collecting "their" rubbish, so take your containers, etc., back to a vendor when done.
