This is the story of Hester Bloodwart, of the Salem Bloodwarts. I knitted Hester for my Halloween spawn. I used a combo of patterns from @dotpebbles_knits for Hester herself, then freehanded the hat, dress & belt, cape, jack-o-lantern, broom, and trick-or-treat bag. Everything but the broom is hand-knit by me. The broom is constructed just like a traditional hand-made broom, but with wire, glue, yarn, and embroidery floss instead of a branch, broom corn, and twine.
