I officially get Wicked stuck in my head every time I write one of these.

Finished the first skein of yarn, about 300 yards in. Halfway through second repeat, it’s looking like my yardage estimation is on track.

Day 2 of the Emerald City Blanket:

Now that I’m more than a repeat in, the diamonds are starting to show! It’s reversible, so the v’s and bumps will be switched on the other side. I anticipate the knit stitches to start curling in a bit more as they get further from the needles, making the motif more evident.

After the unpinning process for the shawl was done, Nyx was rewarded for her efforts by being the first to wear it.

The excitement (and loose yarn ends) caused her to lose her last remaining braincell and gallop away chirping.
