I’ve got a tough garden project: digging out 6 hydrangeas that I’ve never liked. They have elaborate root systems, so it’s a real chore. But kind of amazing too to see how intricately the roots and tendrils spread everywhere. THere are giant worms in the soil too, which makes me happy.
To motivate myself, I use my anger as I dig, and I tell myself I’m digging up GOP corruption. Hopefully the worms are a sign that I can grow other things in that spot.
