Dealing with Family Medical Leave in the US is hard enough without HR sending you forms that expired in 2018.
For anyone who needs it, the current form is: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/WHD/legacy/files/WH-381.pdf
I’m just learning about FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
From what I understand, the law permits an employee to “elect to use accrued paid vacation leave, paid sick or family leave for some or all of the FMLA leave period."
"When paid leave is used for an FMLA-covered reason, the leave is FMLA-protected."
In case anyone needs to know.
Last day of work before #FMLA leave was July 7. First day back will be tomorrow. What's "Sunday scaries" but for like two months?
Also, two month summer break. Highly recommend.
