Personalchefin der Uni Freiburg klagt vor dem Arbeitsgericht

Im Skandal um heimliche und sexualisierte Videoaufnahmen an der Universität Freiburg hat ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiter hunderte Frauen teils über Jahre hinweg heimlich gefilmt – in seiner Wohnung, aber auch in Räumen der Universität.

Die Uni geriet massiv unter Druck: Es ging um die Frage, wer wann was wusste und weshalb Betroffene nicht früher und angemessen informiert wurden. Besonders im Fokus stand dabei die Personalchefin Ursula Seelhorst. Die Uni warf ihr vor, interne Informationspflichten verletzt zu haben, und sprach erst eine Abmahnung aus, vor wenigen Wochen dann sogar die fristlose Kündigung.

In einem ersten Schritt wird nun Seelhorsts Klage gegen die Abmahnung verhandelt. Dazu fand am heutigen Montag eine Güteverhandlung statt, in der ausgelotet werden sollte, ob sich Seelhorst und die Unileitung gütlich einigen könnten. Die Universität wirft Seelhorst in der Abmahnung vor, das Rektorat im Zuge des medial nur noch als „Spanner-Affäre“ bezeichneten Skandals intern nicht umfassend informiert zu haben. Ursula Seelhorst sagt, sie habe das Uni-Rektorat sehr wohl ausführlich informiert.

Verhandelt das Arbeitsgericht sonst eher vor leeren Stuhlreihen, war das heute anders. Circa 100 Zuschauer:innen drängten sich in den Saal, teilweise standen sie oder saßen auf dem Boden. Gegen 09:30 Uhr begann die öffentliche Sitzung.

Wenig überraschend endete die Sitzung ohne Einigung, denn wie eingangs erwähnt, hatte die Unileitung der Abmahnung kürzlich sogar die fristlose Kündigung hinterhergeschickt.

Ende Mai folgt schon der nächste Gütetermin, denn Seelhorst will in Erfahrung bringen, weshalb sie fristlos gekündigt wurde. Die Gründe hierfür seien ihr nicht mitgeteilt worden.

Hot GLAM! Plein Theater and Lesbique are hosting a series of Drag Nights! For this third edition we are superexcited to announce to collaborate with MATES & MASCara - a monthly celebration of drag kings, things, creatures, and all forms of gender-bending expressions.

The performers of MATES & MASCara consists of Alfa Hoer, Phallic Patrick, Irregular Ryan and Karagöza. Special for Bring Drag Back to the Theatre they create a performance, blending drag and theatre.

Amsterdragged: Gentrify me Harder

Four Amsterdammers meet in the city’s historic queer bar, Café 't Mandje.

Over cards, melanchony, and late-night confessions, a game unfolds. What starts as play slowly reveals something sharper. The illusion of Amsterdam as a city of freedom begins to crack. The rules are not neutral. The system is not fair. The dream is rigged. As gentrification reshapes the city and individualism takes hold, the question becomes unavoidable: do you play, do you cheat, or do you get played?

With Amsterdragged, MATES&MASCara brings its first theater production to the stage, as part of the series Bring Drag Back to the Theatre, in collaboration with Plein Theater and Lesbique. This work marks a shift into theater without letting go of what defines MATES&MASCara: experimentation, collective care, and space for FLINTA performers to take risks and be seen on their own terms.

About the artists

Alfa Hoer (they/them) is a Latinx performer and organizer working across drag, BDSM, satire, and queer intimacy. They create worlds where shame, desire, and absurdity collide. As part of the core team of MATES&MASCara and The Artist Circle Amsterdam, and initiator of BOTTOMsUP and BUB, they build spaces for collective joy and political tenderness led by FLINTA people.

Phallic Patrick: A satire of masculinity at its most pumped-up and pathetic. Think CEO ego, fuckboi charm, gabber energy, and bromance gone too far.
He exposes the absurdity of the phallic by pushing it to its sweaty, homoerotic limits—where macho turns messy and the closet door starts to creak.

Girls to the Front

Girls to the Front is an Utrecht based initiative which focuses on the Dutch based FLINTA representation within the punk music industry. It started as an event on the 8th of march in dB’s by Bibi Fay Bannink, an 18 year old feminist punk fan with a plan. Which grew out to a compilation vinyl with 14 FLINTA fronted punk bands, called Girls to the Front. Which was released on the 8th of march 2025 in EKKO, and was followed by a tour throughout the Netherlands. Including Paradiso, VERA Groningen, Rotown, Wilde Weide and Down the Rabbit Hole Dj-set. 2026 will bring another compilation vinyl, another tour and a continued fight.

Girls to the Front doesn’t only celebrate the various ‘punk’ sounds created by FLINTA people that are alive and loud in the country, but also wants to dive in the intersectional struggles and inspirations people experience through the making of zines or through organizing more interdisciplinary events with poetry, film talks and panels.

Girls to the Front hopes to work towards a community of FLINTA people who can mosh together without constantly having to be cautious of the male dominance in spaces like this and take inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement with modern implications and struggles. Most importantly we want all the FLINTA people to the front and we want them to collectively scream en mosh together and celebrate their identities through punk as a genre, but also a lifestyle. 

Last March, Girls to the Front, Vol. 2 saw the light of day.

Supermarkt - Experimental superpunk noise. Absurd, obscene, and senseless.
Clitteband - Screaming, stomping, messing around, pushing back, and broadening boundaries. Hillywood represent.
The Woman - punk in attitude, open in emotion, and radical in honesty.
