Long story short, I got a Drumbeam because... Superbooth 2024, young entrepreneurs in Dresden, innovative controller, never used drum sticks before... Also, I had a vision that involved an almost retired Launchpad.

I bought the Drumbeam, the sticks, and some second-hand accessories. Yesterday I put everything together and started playing. So much fun!

Alle Jahre wieder lädt die Superbooth nach Berlin ein – längst ein Pflichttermin, bei dem man endlich mal wieder alte Bekannte trifft und nicht selten neue Bekanntschaften schließt.

Anfang Mai war es wieder soweit: Die Superbooth 25 fand vom 8. bis 10. wie gewohnt im FEZ in Berlin statt. Auch diesmal waren wieder zig Aussteller dabei, sodass das Hauptgebäude, die Halle und der gesamte Außenbereich sowie das Bungalow Dorf belagert waren. Nicht umsonst wird die Veranstaltung von vielen als eine Art Klassentreffen gesehen, bei der man wieder mal alte Bekannte trifft, aber in der Regel auch mit interessanten neuen Menschen ins Gespräch kommt.

Und genau so wars auch diesmal wieder. Ich habe mich gefreut, Freunde von United Plugins, Noiseworks Audio, Adam Audio, Korg und viele andere mal wieder getroffen zu haben – bei den meisten ist das die einzige Gelegenheit des Jahres. Aber auch neue Bekanntschaften durfte ich machen, unter anderem Richard von Karno und Tom von Rodec, die mich beide mit ihren Mixing-Lösungen begeistert haben.
