IARU-Region-1-CW-Fieldday 2026
We had a beautiful moment when the early sun reached into the shack.
I worked the early morning shift from 04:00 to 07:00 cEST. Not so much going on on the bands. Only few DX contacts.
Were on the Air now with DL0AT/P in the Region 1 CW Field day! I'll be operating my first shift from 16:00 UTC onwards.
Hope to get you in the log.
We are working 100W on a trap dipole in the unassisted category.

I cranked my version of Morse Walker up to 3–6 simultaneous callers for the first time this evening, and the first time that it gave me 6 stations at once, I pulled one station out of the pile-up on the first try, and got the Field Day exchange right too.
I'll still be the least experienced #AmateurRadio CW #FieldDay operator in the tent (despite being the mode captain—a service role). After the challenging experience of trying to work the WW CQ WPX CW (type that six times fast) contest this past weekend with most operators running at 35+WPM, I can tell you that I really needed this encouragement.
