I've had a wonderful time at our local Amateur Radio Club (DARC OV) E13 yesterday.
- Met my radio friends
- Collected and sent out QSL cards via bureau
- had 5 morse code contacts on the club station
- tested morse keys shown by others
- checked the antennas on the roof
If you have the chance: seek others. Go meet in person.
Today I was teaching one of our #amateurRadio trainees. It was his first time to get on the air and we've had a good time talking to many operators in the #hamburg area.
I think its a special thing that our club #E13 is hosting a license course. Just 3 years back I did the same thing and visited one of our club members at his station as a trainee.
Yesterday we concluded 2025s #IARU region 1 #CW #FieldDay. My first fieldday activity in #morseCode as DL0AT/P with 5 other operators from #E13. We set up a trap #dipole for 10-40m as well as a fullsize dipole for the 160m band. 80m was operated on the 40m dipole with a tuner.
Weather in #Hamburg was rainy and stormy.
