Now that #RHEL95 is out, bringing with it #Rust 1.79.0, we can finally update @nu_shell in @fedora and #EPEL #EPEL9 again!

Not quite to the latest `0.100.0` as that requires Rust 1.80.1, but close (this also delays us having to deal with updating dependencies also used by other Rust crates for the time being).

Nushell 0.100.0 | Nushell

A new type of shell.

@nu_shell is now in @fedora and #EPEL9 !

Big thanks to all the upstream developers, and @decathorpe and @Conan_Kudo from #Fedora for reviews and #RPM macro suggestions

Hello Nushell!

After about two years of on-and-off work, I’m happy to report that Nushell has finally landed in Fedora and EPEL 9, and can be installed simply using sudo dnf --refresh install nu on Fedora and your favorite Enterprise Linux distribution (I’m partial to CentOS Stream myself, but also RHEL, AlmaLinux, etc.) (For those not familiar with Nushell yet, think of it as a cross-platform Powershell written in Rust - it lets you manipulate pipelines of structured data, the way you might be using jc and jq with a regular shell)

Now built for @fedora and EPEL9 in my COPR!

It looks like we're getting close to Hare being included into Fedora! Just a few merge requests and a final package review away🤞Anyone interested in forming and participating in a Fedora SIG for Hare?

Once the language is available, the next phase is enabling the packaging of Hare software and libraries in a sane way.

management of Fedora Project updates

@hare @fedora @centos Hot off the press, any volunteers willing to test out the latest #harelang toolchain build from my COPR? It provides #x86_64 and #aarch64 builds for #F38, #F39, and #EPEL9.

$ dnf copr enable mroche/hare
$ dnf install hare

Some other changes:
- New cross-compile meta packages for #GNU and #LLVM dependencies.
- I've created a convenience script, harex, to switch to non-GNU toolsets. Just set HARE_XCOMPILE_TOOLCHAIN to "llvm". User specified env vars will still be respected.

As of now, ☑️Waycheck (for checking protocols your #Wayland environment supports) is available in @fedora (as well as @centos, @almalinux, *et al* through #EPEL9)! 🎉

You can get it by installing the `waycheck` package. Now you too can easily see what features your desktop has and does not have to go poke (kindly!) to get *all the features*, courtesy of yours truly! 🤠
