@hare @fedora @centos Hot off the press, any volunteers willing to test out the latest #harelang toolchain build from my COPR? It provides #x86_64 and #aarch64 builds for #F38, #F39, and #EPEL9.
$ dnf copr enable mroche/hare
$ dnf install hare
Some other changes:
- New cross-compile meta packages for #GNU and #LLVM dependencies.
- I've created a convenience script, harex, to switch to non-GNU toolsets. Just set HARE_XCOMPILE_TOOLCHAIN to "llvm". User specified env vars will still be respected.
I just heard on @thelinuxexperiment podcast about @funnelfiasco's layoff from #RedHat... terrible news, indeed.
First, I'm sure Ben will find something cool to bring food to his table. He's been showing how competent he is at his job (#F38's release was flawless) and every company paying attention should be contacting him ASAP.
Second. I've been part of the @fedora community for about a year and I'm sure, being Ben the amazing dude he is, he's been putting everything in order before he leaves and @mattdm's work filling the void would be quite easy.
Last, being sure everything will work alright, I just want to say #ThankYouBen. Thanks for your amazing work and all the cool things you brought to the table on the #FedoraNation. You're still part of the Fedora Community, even if your status on Red Hat changed.

Mos thing in #Nobara can be made in @fedora with a little more extra effort.
But, that's not the part that caught most of my atention. It were the notes you have on how to install #DaVinciResolve on #Fedora... specially #F38.
Have you ever considered making a tutorial on that topic? π
