I just wanted the #fediverse to know that I donate to #Palestine... but WON'T do it online.

I donate money to a local #Palestinian organization known as The Palestine Committee. They make sure that the money ends up in the hands of Palestinians in #Gaza.

I will not be giving any money to people #ebegging, largely because it is impossible to know if it's an actual Palestinian - or a #scammer.

And no, using a legitimate online #donation platform does not guarantee someone is not a #scammer.

About to subscribe to a year of #zencastr, which I used reliably until they got rid of their free model, to record my #interview today with (hopefully) no repeat of technical issues like I had recording a #podcast episode with @[email protected] . Here's an example of why I have to shill my #patreon and #artisticNude #photography on #gumroad despite the earnest desire to provide free visual examples of nonsexual female nipples so that maybe someday we can have the same rights to go #topFree in public and online that "male nips" get: I'm banned from #monetization and sponsors won't return my emails, so #ebegging and selling nudes is literally the only way I can bring any funding in. I hate it, but what can I do...
