I just wanted the #fediverse to know that I donate to #Palestine... but WON'T do it online.

I donate money to a local #Palestinian organization known as The Palestine Committee. They make sure that the money ends up in the hands of Palestinians in #Gaza.

I will not be giving any money to people #ebegging, largely because it is impossible to know if it's an actual Palestinian - or a #scammer.

And no, using a legitimate online #donation platform does not guarantee someone is not a #scammer.

Ich habe für bestimmte Fälle ein #WhatsApp Konto auf einer Rufnummer, die ich für nichs anderes nutze, eine Rufnummer bei #Sipgate. Die Simkarte habe ich leider nicht dabei.

Dieser #WhatsApp Account wurde wohl gehackt und schickt jetzt Nachrichten an andere Leute. Ich hoffe das sich niemand der Leute von diesem #Scammer #scammen lässt.
