So many difficult, depressing & complex things in the news just now, so here are is a photo from Wilson Bentley's brilliant 1904 raindrop study. If you hold out a tray with flour on it, the raindrops that fall on it will get coated, then absorb the flour, then make a little dough ball the same size the raindrop was. He did this for lots of storms to see how raindrop sizes varied.
Nature is still ace. And you can still measure your own raindrops.
