You need to be warned. This appears, from what I can tell, to be a Polish police intervention at an illegal breeding operation. There are more than a dozen foxes they rescued, but dozens more dead, and the images do not shy away from the horror. It is very painful to look at. Went jogging in a small forest nearby and came across these heart-shaped pigeon wings.
What amazes me is that my next art project happens to involve a pigeon — and just the other day I was looking for references. Then today, I stumble upon this. 🖤

Such a delicate and beautiful tragedy of nature.
Spreading seeds throughout their life, becoming nourishment for other species, and eventually returning to Mother Nature through their remains. Isn't it poetic that their wings are shaped like a heart? And how we tend to see symbols in everything — like the quiet kind of love that holds the world together through some form of sacrifice?
