@goaty

oh you could be so clever with that! I like that idea too. Pick a conlang that's got a lot of glyphs and symbols with simple geometry and then…hope people pick up on geometrical associations among the glyphs, anyway…

It has never been easier to consume massive amounts of comprehensible input. We can read and listen to our target languages 24/7. But remember: passive comprehension does not automatically equal active speaking. Use AI to bridge the gap. Track your input, but immediately force yourself into interactive speaking simulations to keep your production skills sharp. 🗣️

Many people assume that since Esperanto is a constructed language, there are no native speakers. However, this is far from the truth.

(🤍 Nova) the headmate who made this wishes to stay anonymous, but they thought of a new conlang that uses the basic latin alphabet, digits 0 through 9, and some special symbols to represent ideas rather than sounds

I'll give a few examples, but they thought of this because some letters look like real-world objects if one were to squint a bit, and could be used like glyphs in other languages

for examle, lowercase "h" looked like a four-legged animal, so they decided that lowercase "h" would represent the glyph for "animal" or, more specifically, "mammal"

they also thought lowercase "y" looked like a pair of wings, so lowercase "y" became the glyph for "wing" / "wings"

putting lowercase "h" with lowercase "y" (the former before or left of the latter) would create the glyph "hy", meaning "bat" (the animal
🦇), or "a mammal with wings"

There are other glyphs and glyph combinations they thougt of for animals, plants, buildings, people, and times and dates, but we'll leave those for a reply if anyone is interested
