During its 57 years of existence, NAICOB has also provided leadership in many struggles for social, economic, environmental and racial justice. It’s important to ensure that Indigenous voices and perspectives continue to be heard loud and clear by elected officials and other communities and organizations in Boston and in Massachusetts.
NAICOB collaborates closely with United American Indians of New England on many issues and events in addition to our MA Indigenous Legislative Agenda work, including Indigenous Peoples Day, National Day of Mourning, and much more. The staff is amazing, committed, and consistently going above and beyond for local Indigenous peoples.
It’s also important to keep the NAICOB building, located in Jamaica Plain, open and fully staffed. The building is the heart of Boston's urban Native community, with a long history of providing meeting, artbuild and social space for Indigenous and allied community groups and causes.
