Ok, there's a lot of talent in one place here. I had forgotten this one from my youth. It's quite alive, today.

I always admired the Chieftains for being able to engage musically. This is engagement. And Gary Moore, obviously, carries the whole thing effortlessly albeit he looks a bit like he is lifting an elephant.

The audience clapping with polite satisfaction is a thing in itself.

One of my favourites this time of year is from an album by The #Chieftains called Bells of Dublin. This was sung at a #Christmas show I was at last night & this verse hit me afresh:
