For this, Germany must be held accountable. Economically. Politically. Culturally.
It must be boycotted. It must be isolated. It must never again be allowed to lead.

Letter to the DAAD | Jonas Staal (2024 -04-19)
オランダ人アーティスト ジョナス・スタール氏が#DAAD Artist residency（ドイツ学術交流会による芸術家助成）への推薦を断る声明。昨今のドイツにおけるパレスチナ支持の弾圧を厳しく批判している。
ゲーテ・インスティトゥート（#ドイツ の公立国際文化交流機関）が外国人に授与する〈ゲーテ・メダル〉という勲章🏅 がある。
ここに来て立て続けに二人の受章者がドイツ政府のイスラエル支持への抗議としてメダルを返上したというニュースが。
2020年アフリカ出身者として初めて受章した作家Ｚ・ワンナー氏（ザンビア生まれ、南アフリカ国籍）と、2022年のエジプト人画家Ｍ・アブラ氏。
これまでドイツの側から「反ユダヤ主義」などの嫌疑で文化人らを排斥する動きが度々報道されていたが、逆にドイツの賞なんぞ願い下げというのも、分かり過ぎる。
