Funny how when Hungary gets a new 'polar opposite' leader, the change is swift and immediate.

Kind of like when Republicans take over from Democrats.

Strange that the Democrats never seem to be able to muster any kind of swift and decisive change for the Common Good.

Over the years, we've seen criminal charges added to all types of events, especially with the likes of Ticketmaster pushing people to spend more for less. It's one section of consumer rights that governments across the world have failed to address, and even behemoths like the EU have not addressed it. And while it's easy to say that high priced tickets for the likes of these events are 1st world problems, the trickle down impacts are relevant to everyone.

They are supposed to add a uncomfortable shock level to already hideously over violent scenes but their more frequent use in modern movies is having an opposite effect in my opinion. Just like violence to women in these films, it's desensitising people, in particular young men and you see it on social media even when it's real like the children murdered in #Gaza#. Call me old fashioned but I think there are some bridges that require careful crossing. 🔚

I really detest films that have children murdered in it. I'm not taking about a well written drama that tackles an issue which is relevant to society or has historical context. I'm talking about mainstream movies, in particular horror films. Almost every time, they are directed by men like Peter Thorwarth or Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, raised by PlayStation and quite happy to use children suffering or in horrific roles of murder and gore. I'm most cases, they are poorly written plot devices. 1)

21 April 1942 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Abraham Mozes Davidson, was born in Rotterdam.

In January 1943 he was deported to #Auschwitz with his mother Kornelia (pictured), father Jacob and older sister Rieca. None of them survived.
