#The100DayProject I took a break from the project while I travelled for the last 2 weeks, but I'm not adding those days to the end. Today's creative project was #fermentation: making #kimchi, yogurt, and lemon/ginger soda, now that I'm home.
I did all of this (as well as dishes) while enjoying a #BodyDouble session with long-term friends. It's such a great way to catch up with people while being productive.

Lovely week this week, with temps above freezing every day. I had a #sewing day yesterday and a #BodyDouble session, which allowed me to finish sewing the Dawson Top that I've had fabric for for 3+ years now. Also, I got a zipper added to the lunchbox that I decided to clone, my daughter's favourite. It's made with insulation batting. I should have sewn on the straps before building up the sides, but it's all an experiment, apparently a successful one. Wednesday, I visited Coronation Pool and tried out the bouldering wall, as intended. It's more challenging than I'd love, especially wearing running shoes instead of climbing shoes. Still, it was a good enough workout at only 5 minutes that I've now purchased a chalk bag and chalk. Thursday, a hike at Laurier Park, where the Silver Skates Festival is happening. I'm sad to be getting rid of my skates and downhill skis when conditions are lovely, but I've reached an age and stage of fragility when it's no longer wise.
Organization: trips to ecostation & Re-Use.

I feel like I'm gradually recalibrating this week, and things are going pretty smoothly. I had #BodyDouble sessions with friends on Tuesday/Wednesday and I managed to sew these mitts with Merino wool jersey that I'd purchased a couple of years ago. I also tightened the waistband of the first pyjama pants I'd sewn when I first started #sewing regularly. They are getting dangerously loose as some of my previous weight is disappearing.
Thursday is walk day with a friend, and the city is still lovely with a coating of fast-melting snow. Our café visit was quite lovely, one of the places that is part of our Coffee Pass.
Yesterday was a repeat visit to the eco-station and the Re-Use Centre as I continue my organization plans. I arrived at the Re-Use Centre immediately after this woman with a box of canning jars that she's inexplicably getting rid of. I found a few more in the centre, which were available for free. Many were Classico pasta sauce jars, my favourite brand, in part because it's sold in Mason jars.

The weather is warm this week, above freezing every day. Yesterday, that meant that the ice in my apartment's parking lot was covered in water. It took me out, I had a hard fall, and my #Apple Watch was trying hard to call 911 for me. So, I took a muscle relaxant last night, and I slept close to 12 hours.
Today, I had a lovely #BodyDouble session with @whoosh where I tightened the waistband on the first pair of pyjama pants that I sewed on my #sewing journey. Yesterday, I made a pair of wool mitts with Merino wool jersey and ribbing that I had in my stash. Perfect for hand coverings in today's weather, but also a lower layer for bitterly cold days like we had a couple of weeks ago.
My ginger bug is bubbling away as I feed it fresh ginger and honey every day.
Now, I walk to all appointments in my neighbourhood, including my chiropractic treatment today. The giant puddle and the bobblehead idols were all part of my tiny trek.
