Ein Tannenhäher sitzt seitlich an einem moosbewachsenen Baumstamm im Wald. Sein dunkelbraunes Gefieder ist dicht mit weißen Flecken übersät, was ihm ein markantes, kontrastreiches Erscheinungsbild verleiht. Der kräftige, spitze Schnabel ist typisch für diese Rabenvogelart und ideal zum Öffnen von Samen, besonders von Zirben- und Fichtenzapfen. Der Vogel klammert sich mit starken Füßen an die Rinde und blickt aufmerksam in die Umgebung. Der weiche, grünlich verschwommene Hintergrund betont die natürliche Waldatmosphäre.


A spotted nutcracker is perched sideways on a moss-covered tree trunk in a forest. Its dark brown plumage is densely covered with white spots, giving it a striking, high-contrast appearance. The strong, pointed bill is characteristic of this corvid species and well adapted for cracking seeds, especially pine cones. The bird grips the bark firmly while scanning its surroundings. The soft green, blurred background enhances the calm woodland atmosphere.
