The use of #ai appears to be novel - which raises questions of reliability. Some parts of it are consistent with other evidence - patterns of ethnic and religious voting preferences reported in the most recent #britishelectionstudy published late last year would support the projection for #barnet .

"Up in North #London is a neighbourhood which has become known as London's '#Jewishquarter'. Nearly half of people living in #GoldersGreen, in #Barnet, identify as being #Jewish.

Jewish people began to settle in Golders Green after the underground station was built there in 1907. There was an influx of #refugees in the 1930s, as people fled from #Nazi persecution.

The area has become known as London's 'Jewish quarter' as it is filled #Kosher food shops, restaurants and over 30 #synagogues where people come together to practice #Judaism. There are also 30 #JewishSchools in Golders Green, where younger generations learn #Hebrew, #Yiddish and other languages.

Many Jewish people keep kosher and to the laws of the #Shabbat. Kosher food, which sticks to strict preparation rules. can be difficult to find in some areas. But not in Golders Green, where there are around 50 kosher eateries under #rabbinical supervision."

Colindale Tube station has become step-free for the first time after a new ticket hall opened on Monday, making it the 94th accessible station on the #Underground. The upgraded entrance features a larger ticket hall, lift access from street to platform, wider pavements and a sustainable blue-and-green roof. The project boosts capacity to meet growing demand linked to major housing development in the area. Work began in January 2024, with funding from the Government, #Barnet Council, local developers and #Transport for #London, and included a six-month closure last year. Further works, including new signage, cycle parking, retail space and an accessible toilet, will be completed by mid-2026. The upgrade supports plans for thousands of new homes and forms part of TfL’s wider programme to expand step-free access across the network, subject to funding.

Turning, #Japanese : the old #bearing was from #NSK #Japan - so it would have been a fairly decent brand (its a VW OEM supplier) but /something/ knackered it (maybe a pothole?) - and as its not VW marked it would have been already replaced once - I don't think the lads at the dealer in #London would have had much opportunity to hoon the car before it was sold even if they wanted to, they are in #Barnet / #Enfield which is full of low speed limits as well as cameras).

The magnet ring was still intact, so I used some liquid crystal sheet to show the #magnetic fields (these #magnets are what makes the #ABS sensor work)

Note to self: remove bearing from the meeting table in the office *before* leaving tonight so its not still there on Monday 😁
