So a week ago I posted that I got a #miniatures case with metal trays.
I magnetized a some of my minis but I had to stop because I ran out of #magnets, some miniatures were too small for the magnets, and some were completely filled with #Kneadatite "Green Stuff" epoxy underneath.
I ordered a cheap #Dremel and I've been using it to grind out the Green Stuff. I also ordered a package of mixed-size magnets so now I have some for the smaller miniatures.
about 25 years ago I had a magnet bar for my kitchen knives, and liked it, but after only 5 years I had to move to a place where I couldn't use it, and (along with my knives), I gave it away. Now I'm in a position to want another one, and I would appreciate some suggestions, preferably with non-amazon links to buy. It needs to something that can be secured to drywall with an electric drill, and preferably comes with decent stud anchors and other suitable hardware.
I put some magnets in my cart on Amazon and saved them for later. Then I had a sudden flash of panic because the magnets were right beside of some electronic equipment.
Then I felt dumb. It's not like they were actually beside of the electronic equipment, but for a second there...
