DAY 118-119 Yesterday was the 1th day of the mousse tests & it didn’t go great. My brain stopped working, I had my period & took some pills for it, got stressed out, got a bowl in the face & started bleeding & miscalculated the gelatin in the pannacotta. Not my best, ugh. The laminated dough test is in smaller groups so half of the class was off today & I went to my next work place, no red flags. Prepping for laminating tomorrow. DAY 116-117 (2 of 2) Today we did the dough and I think I did okay too. Ms Pantsless made a dough that looked like a sponge cake mix, no idea how that happened… pretty impressive. Tomorrow we are starting to prep for mousse cake... #Baking #BakerySchool #BecomingABaker
DAY 116-117 (1 of 2) Totally forgot everything yesterday after I got back from school, test on mon, tues, wed and fri this week and same next week I think so I’m a mess. Great to be back in school and see everyone. Test started right away, prepping butter for laminating dough. Not that much too it, think I did okay. #BakerySchool #BecomingABaker #Baking
DAY 115 (part 2/2) I don’t know. Emotionally a little all over the place. My brother said I should have networked more and asked people for numbers or social media stuff as it could help for future jobs. I’m not good at social stuff. I feel a bit down. #Bakery #BakerySchool #BecomingABaker
DAY 115 (Part 1/2)Last day of work experience for this time. Mixed emotions. Fun to try some new things back in school but scared of the test. Then it’s off to a new bakery and I kind of feel like a fraud, like I don’t know anything and I’m just a walking disappointment. I’m off to a bakery where a classmate of mine spent his two WE periods, and he’s good. I guess I can ask him for pointers on what to expect. #Baking #BecomingABaker #BakerySchool
DAY 114 Last day tomorrow. I have liked my time at this bakery but it’s a bit repetitive, I would like more variety in my work. If we ignore all the tests I am looking forward to getting back to school for a few weeks and catching up, and it also means I get to sleep a little longer. We have some fun things on the schedule in school (not just tests). Looking forward to tartlets, we are making carrot cake but I doubt it’s better than my brothers. #Baking #BakerySchool #BecomingABaker

DAY 111 Last week of this work place experience. Starting to get nervous getting back to school as we have a bunch of test. Feeling pretty comfortable at work but if I was to enjoy my job I feel I need something slightly different. I guess I want goals and feeling like I can make a difference in the work place.
