Made Cuban lime sugar cookies for a get-together with friends Saturday ^^ if they look green, that's cause they are -- like zest! Rich and delicious, and I put a little dot of guava paste in the center of each.
Made these chocolate pastry things on a whim. I made vanilla bean pastry cream to go with but didn't really make the right kind of thing to easily fill. Gonna just split and fill like layers I think.
Since I was stuck here I baked a cheesecake for my parents -- triple-ginger snaps with some cinnamon for the crust of a vanilla-espresso zebra cheesecake. It was lovely. 
Results from tonight's baking: red bean rice cake and strawberry matcha rice cake! Both done like western cakes, but using sweet rice flour. Outstanding! And chewy like mochi! It's like a hybrid between cake and mochi! 🧡

Raspberry mocha brownie cheesecake! A raspberry mirror glaze enrobes an espresso/vanilla zebra cheesecake atop a brownie base crust with a thin layer of white chocolate ganache under the raspberry. ^^
This was utterly fantastic and I will definitely make again!
Plum and Peaches-&-Cream Shortcake! A filling of peaches, plums, and basil to a shortcake with a whipped cream topping folded with gelled peaches using pectin!

This is a mashup of 2 different recipes I adapted for peaches or for freshness instead of spicedness. The basil is outstanding in this! I'd adapt the shortcake differently next time. I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong but it didn't rise at all, very dense, not the lighter fluffier thing I was expecting. I think I'd scale back down the shortcake amount to the original recipe and then just spread it over the full 9" pan.
Eepy yotie need coffee or tea or bothhh.
And maybe more cake! Made a simple gateaux au yaourt last night with fresh blueberries. A firmer cake than it looks! Was surprised by the texture. But dirt simple to make!
