A quotation from Shakespeare

HELENA: Things base and vile, holding no quantity,
   Love can transpose to form and dignity.
   Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind;
   And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
   Nor hath Love’s mind of any judgment taste.
   Wings, and no eyes, figure unheedy haste.
   And therefore is Love said to be a child
   Because in choice he is so oft beguiled.

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) English dramatist and poet
Midsummer Night’s Dream, Act 1, sc. 1, ll. 238ff (1.1.238-245) (1605)

@zephyrotv Yeah the guy was armed so think, had the guy lived, the onus would have been on him to prove that the weapon had nothing to do with the ICE agent's firing shots.

Seems very cut+dry, unfortunately. Feel bad for his family they raised him and he's dead coz he wore a handgun to a demonstration

If there is a wrong thing to do, it will be done, infallibly. One has come to believe in that as if it were a law of nature.
