Zoritxarrez, ez dago #FDroid|en 😢, hala ere #AuroraStore|n, bai

If you film videos of any kind on #GrapheneOS may I wholeheartedly recommend the "Blackmagic Camera" app, which can be found on the #AuroraStore. It's produced by the same folks who make #DaVinciResolve.

It might just be a me problem, but the GrapheneOS camera app (which works really nicely for point and shoot photography) goes a bit glitchy and out of sync with audio when I film stuff, I think because it's variable framerate, and my editing software likes it locked.

@dave No need for the Google store - I installed the GoogleCamera from #AuroraStore and disabled any Network connectivity for that app. Works flawless since I got on #GrapheneOS maybe 2 years ago...

Z lekkim opóźnieniem, ale #grapheneos zainstalowany na #pixel9a 👍

Instalacja błyskawiczna, a teraz zabawa z konfiguracją aplikacji.

Sam szukałem tych informacji, więc dla następnych szukających:

Got a weird tech question, and I'm not sure which forum to post it to, so I'll put it out into the fediverse ether!

I use #lineageOS on a #Fairphone3 and most of my apps are installed via f-droid. But some are installed via #AuroraStore, when there isn't an fdroid version.

I'm not signed into Google play on this phone.

Most apps just work, but there are 3 which do a weird thing, and are unusable as a result - when they start they just spin out to a Google Play sign on page.

What's going on? And is there anything I can do about it?

The apps are:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.buddhamind

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.co_operative_bank.sme_mobile_banking

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saf.aranetCube.android (I haven't tested this one recently)

Google being evil again...

I have two identical Google phones. One arrived today, the other bought in February, both running Android 16.

Setup went very well using copy from one to the other, but...

- the second won't install #AuroraStore, which I have on the first. Google Play tells me it's not available because it was written for an earlier version of Android, which is clearly a lie.

#Google also failed to transfer all the privacy settings I changed in the first phone. Cunts.

Anyone else having issues logging in anonymously in #AuroraStore #AuroraOSS ?

Quick #tut:

only wired step:
5min web install #grapheneOS over stock #android

wirlessly from here forward:

get #fDroid
&use to get #obtainium,
#shelter,
and #auroraStore;

use shelter to clone aurora to #sandboxed work profile

use sandboxed aurora to #anonymously downolad&keep #google #playStore apps sandboxed

any trusted #foss apps can be gotten via f-droid on main profile like #riseUpVPN #moshidon and #clock

at any time sandboxed work profile apps can all be paused ( #disabled )with one click

Did #AuroraStore stop working for anyone else? It stopped on a Moto 5G 2025 (or whatever it's called) and I was able to toggle it and get it working again but on this Motorola G Stylus 2023 it's a no-go. JavaScript errors abound. All updates are applied so I am at a loss. FDroid and G Play work fine as a point of comparison. #AlternativeAppStores
